These cameras resemble The Pronto, The One-Step (shown below), The Button, etc... The cover / protector folds up to reveal the lens, meter system, and electronic flash. Uses Type 600 or 600-Plus Pack Films. Has Polaroid's variable aperture / shutter system which exposes the film using a combination of ambient light and "fill" light (flash), as nessesary, to automatically provide evenly lit pictures. Shown is the Model 660 AF (auto focus) which uses sonar technology. Later (newer) versions use a infared sensing electronic photocell, located under the viewfinder, to do the job even better. Fixed focus Aspheric meniscus lens. Eariler versions, such as the Polaroid Amigo 620, used the flash bars. Collector's value: Non-sonar / infared: $5-$15. With sonar or infared technology: $25-$35 depending upon condition. |
